A Dream To Share

Message of 17th February 2023
I think that A Dream To Share should be closer to the top of the market in the Champion Bumper than he is.
We don’t have a lot of evidence for the bumper of course, but A Dream To Share is now three for three, and he was seriously impressive in winning the Grade 2 bumper at the Dublin Racing Festival.
He moved up smoothly on the outside as they rounded the home turn, he was still on the bridle when they straightened up, and he picked up smartly to hit the front well outside the two-furlong marker, coming clear of Fact To File inside the final furlong, with the second well clear of the third.
That made it three for three for John Kiely’s horse. He had looked seriously impressive in winning on his racecourse debut at Tipperary last May, and this was his first run since he followed up at Roscommon last June. There is every chance that he will improve again for this run.
He is trained by one of the most astute trainers in the game, and he has been bought from the Gleesons by JP McManus since his Leopardstown win, which can’t be a negative, especially given that JP also owns the runner-up in the Leopardstown race.
A DREAM TO SHARE WON (ADV 6/1, SP 7/2)
