Vadream
2nd-Oct-2021
Vadream has a little bit to find with the top-rated horses in the Bengough Stakes, but there is every chance that she can make the requisite progression.
She wasn’t beaten far in the Guineas, over a trip that probably stretched her stamina. Dropped to seven furlongs for the Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot next time, she ran a big race to finish third behind the two Godolphin horses Creative Force and Naval Crown.
She dropped again in trip to six furlongs next time for a Group 3 fillies’ race at York and, while she finished off her race well to take second place, that was all a little bit sharp for her. Six furlongs at Ascot on easy ground should be much more to her liking.
She didn’t have a lot of luck in-running in either of her last two races, in the Oak Tree Stakes at Glorious Goodwood or in a Group 3 race at Deauville last time but, back on easy ground, and back at Ascot, where she put up her career-best in the Jersey Stakes, she could run a big race.
VADREAM WON (ADV 12/1 [R4], SP 6/1)
