Pandorama

02-Dec-2009

Pandorama was a high class novice hurdler last season – he beat Alpha Ridge by 26 lengths in the Monksfield Hurdle at Navan last November – who always looked like he was killing time before he went chasing. He didn’t impress at all with his jumping on his chasing debut at Punchestown, he jumped to his right throughout and Noel Meade said afterwards that he would have to think twice before running him on a right-handed track again. However, he did battle on really well to beat Clan Tara that day, despite his jumping frailties, and he had to make a lot of his own running. There is a good chance that he will be better and straighter over his fences with a lead, which he is certain to get today. He has a serious engine, he will handle the ground, he is a big player, and he is worth having on side at 4/1.

PANDORAMA WON (ADV 4/1, SP 9/4)
